Background
Public Aid Organization –PAO; is a non-governmental, independent, non-profit, and public utility
organization. It works according to its humanitarian values to improve and settle the principles of
human rights, establishing a developed civil society. This will be done by carrying out the
developing and permanent programs and projects as it is guided by the United Nations’
declaration concerning the third millennium. PAO was established in 1992 well rooted and
present with offices in all of Iraq.
Position: Community Mobilizers.
Base: Wasit-Muthana-Basra
Job description:
- Facilitate Community Meetings and discussions
- Mobilize Community Members to participate in project activities and initiatives.
- Identify and involve key stakeholders, including local leaders and influencers.
- Serve as a connection between the community and project staff/management.
- Gather feedback from community members on project effectiveness and relevance.
- Reports to the Field Coordinator.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Minimum one year experience as a Mobilizer
- Proven ability to work as a team leader
- Demonstrated commitment to humanitarian principles
- Strong understanding of the situation of social cohesion context in the targeted location
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
- Strong Arabic skills, written and spoken
