Background
Public Aid Organization –PAO; is a non-governmental, independent, non-profit, and public utility
organization. It works according to its humanitarian values to improve and settle the principles of
human rights, establishing a developed civil society. This will be done by carrying out the
developing and permanent programs and projects as it is guided by the United Nations’
declaration concerning the third millennium. PAO was established in 1992 well rooted and
present with offices in all of Iraq.
Position: Field Coordinators
Base: Wasit-Muthana-Basra
Job description:
- Oversee day-to-day implementation of project activities in targeted locations.
- Coordinate with staff, and community for smooth implementation of activities.
- Monitor progress and address challenges.
- Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, community leaders, and CSOs.
- Facilitate meetings
- Act as a connection between stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to community mobilizers.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on project activities and achievements.
- Maintain documentation of project-related information.
- Reports to Project Manager.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
1. Strong belief in human rights and equality.
2. Minimum two years professional experience as a coordinator.
3. Good interpersonal skills including ability to gain trust and build relationships.
4. Good diplomatic and persuasion skills.
5. Computer literacy (Word, Excel)
6. Respect and a non-discriminatory attitude
7. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Good reporting skills.
