After familiarizing themselves with the project and its objectives, the second phase of youth cohesion activities kicked off in the provinces of Nineveh and Erbil. The team members worked on preparing a study about the youth situation in both provinces. In the subsequent stage, the youth in Nineveh held three focus sessions with various segments of the community to identify challenges and explore solutions .
Meanwhile, in Erbil, the youth presented the results of the study they prepared to reflect their vision on the challenges they face through a workshop on collective decision-making attended by decision-makers .
The Youth Connect Project aims to provide a civic space for young people to express their ideas, address challenges, and attempt to tackle them through collaboration and networking with decision-makers. This project is being implemented in the provinces of Nineveh and Erbil with the support of the British Council.
