As part of the project Improving the Human Rights Condition and Promoting Democratic Participation, implemented by the Public Aid Organization (PAO) with support from the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) and in partnership with the Ozone Network for Environmental Preservation, an awareness seminar was held in Baghdad on August 19, 2025.
The seminar was attended by 14 participants, including representatives of government and service institutions, private sector companies specialized in finance and developmental investment, leaders of civil society organizations, academics, and community leaders.
The seminar was organized by Al-Aghsan Organization for Agricultural and Environmental Development, a member of the Ozone Network, and addressed key topics on climate change, its impacts, and strategies for adaptation.
This seminar is part of a series of fifty awareness seminars being conducted across Iraq to highlight climate change and raise community awareness of its dimensions and challenges.
