On August 21, 2025, 31 participants from students and graduates gathered at the Vocational Training Center Hall in Karbala for an awareness seminar focused on climate change and adaptation strategies.
The event is part of the project “Improving the Human Rights Condition and Promoting Democratic Participation”, implemented by the Public Aid Organization with support from the Norwegian People’s Aid and in partnership with the Ozone Network for Environmental Preservation.
The seminar was managed by “Al-Manassa Scientific Organization”, a member of the Ozone Network, where participants engaged with environmental awareness topics and strategies to mitigate the impacts of climate change, emphasizing the vital role of youth in protecting the environment and contributing actively to their communities.
This seminar is one of fifty organized across Iraq’s provinces to raise awareness of climate change and enhance community participation in addressing it.
