As part of the Institutional Development Program for Non-Governmental Organizations implemented by the Public Aid Organization in partnership with the NGO Directorate, an online training session on Strategic Planning was held on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
A total of 24 non-governmental organizations participated in the training. These organizations are members of the Justice for Prisoners Network and the Ozone Network for Environmental Preservation, both of which had previously undergone an institutional assessment process.
The program aims to develop the work of NGOs operating in Iraq, enhance their role and independence in accordance with the law, and strengthen their institutional capacities to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It also seeks to empower these organizations to access suitable funding sources and implement community activities effectively.
