Humat Dijlah Open Environmental Dialogue in Mosul

On July 23, 2025, Mosul hosted an awareness seminar on climate change as part of the project “Improving the Human Rights Condition and Promoting Democratic Participation”, implemented by the Public Aid Organization with support from the Norwegian People’s Aid and in partnership with the Ozone Network.

The seminar, organized by the Humat Dijlah Association – a member of the Ozone Network – brought together 20 representatives from governmental, academic, civil society, media, unions, and private sector institutions.

It focused on strategies for climate change adaptation and the importance of proactive climate action, as part of a series of fifty seminars across Iraq to promote environmental awareness.
