On Monday, November 3, 2025, the Public Aid Organization (PAO) organized a community seminar as part of the “Youth Connect” project, titled “Challenges and Issues of Youth in Nineveh”, with wide participation from decision-makers, government and academic institutions, members of the Iraqi Parliament, tribal leaders, and religious figures.
The seminar featured interactive sessions that brought together youth and decision-makers to discuss key challenges and work on practical solutions, emphasizing the importance of involving young people in shaping public policies to strengthen social cohesion and sustainable development. The “Youth Connect” project, supported by the British Council, aims to empower youth and build bridges of trust between them and governmental and community institutions, fostering effective dialogue and positive community participation in the post-conflict phase.
