The Director of the Women’s Affairs Department at the local government of Basra received the representative office of the Public Aid Organization (PAO) in the province, represented by the Director of PAO’s Basra Office, to set a joint action plan and expand prospects for cooperation between both sides. The meeting discussed the development of programs focused on women’s empowerment and the protection of children’s and family rights, in addition to facilitating the necessary procedures to ensure the swift and efficient implementation of field projects and their delivery to beneficiaries. This meeting comes within the framework of strengthening institutional coordination and integrating efforts to serve the local community and achieve a sustainable impact.
