An awareness seminar on climate change was held in Dohuk governorate on July 9, 2025, with the participation of 21 members of the local community, focusing on climate change, ways to confront it, and ways to adapt to it.
The seminar was carried out by the Kurdistan Water Organization, one of the member organizations of the Ozone Network for Environmental Conservation.
This seminar is part of the project “Improving Human Rights Conditions and Enhancing Democratic Participation (EDP)”, implemented by the Public Aid Organization with the support of the Norwegian People’s Aid Organization and in partnership with the Ozone Network.
This seminar is one of a series of fifty awareness seminars to be organized in various Iraqi governorates, intending to highlight the phenomenon of climate change and enhance community awareness of it.
