As part of the activities of the Multi-Year Recovery Project in Kirkuk, a specialized training was conducted for teachers working in the targeted schools and Accelerated Learning Centers. The training aimed to enhance their educational capacities and strengthen their skills in applying modern pedagogical approaches inside classrooms.
The training lasted for three days and brought together a number of teachers from the targeted schools and centers. It focused on introducing the concept of pedagogy and its importance in the educational process, while highlighting modern teaching methods that place students at the center of learning. It also addressed effective classroom management strategies, ways to motivate students and increase their participation during lessons, as well as the use of interactive activities to improve the learning process, particularly in Accelerated Learning Centers.
The training also included practical sessions and applied exercises that allowed teachers to exchange experiences and discuss the challenges they face in the educational environment. In addition, participants reviewed practical lesson models designed to support improved teaching practices and enhance the overall quality of education in classrooms.
