As part of the project “Improving Human Rights and Promoting Democratic Participation” implemented by PAO with support from the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), and in partnership with the Ozone Network for Environmental Protection, a climate change awareness seminar was held in Mosul to discuss ways of addressing and adapting to climate change.
The seminar was implemented by Ninawa Bloom for Agriculture and Environment Development, a member of the Ozone Network, with the participation of 32 local community members.
This event is part of a series of 50 seminars to be organized across Iraqi provinces to highlight the issue of climate change and strengthen public awareness of its importance.
