Within the framework of the visit of the Institute of parliamentary development in Baghdad, representatives of the Public Aid Organization presented the initiative of the women’s team within the activities of the Enhancing Democracy project under the title “Legislating a Law to Protect Citizens from Electronic Extortion”. The initiative included the submission of the draft amendment to the cybercrime law to the relevant committees in parliament, to enhance the digital security of citizens.
The initiative seeks to establish an effective legal framework to protect the rights of individuals.
