The Public Aid Organization as part of the AMAL project (the Protect Procedure and the new Opportunities for Society) implemented a workshop training for local societies and social leaders from Akra and Tuzkhramato districts on Duhok and Salah al-Din governorates from 30 May to 1 June 2024 .
The training aimed to analyze the local and societal context within the district to propose initial solutions for the challenges through mechanisms of dialogue, mediation, and negotiation. It also focused on assessing the impacts of partnership roles at the governmental level, security apparatus, tribes, and clerics in planning for the future stability of the region.
