The Public Aid Organization held a preparatory meeting in Baghdad with the Youth and Feminine Voluntary group as part of the “Enhancing Democracy” project on Tuesday, 4 June 2024. The meeting aimed to reach an agreement on a work plan for both initiatives. The first initiative concerns (Expediting the amendment of the Drugs and Mental Effects Law number 50 for the year 2017). The second initiative focuses on (Cybersecurity, legislating a law to protect citizens from cyber blackmail). Additionally, discussions included the mechanism of role distribution, communication for coordination, and collaboration purposes among themselves, aiming to create a unified and organized team.
