Coinciding with the International Youth Day, 14 August 2024, as part of the activities of the Unemployment Initiative, the Public Aid Organization held the World Youth Day conference within the activities of the Youth Connect project .
During which he reviewed statistics on the unemployment rate in the Kurdistan region, and an interactive dialogue was held with the representative of the Ministry of Labor and social affairs in the region, during which young people expressed challenges in order to search for solutions and propose them to decision makers .
These events are part of the activities of the Youth Connect project , which is being implemented in the governorates of Erbil and Nineveh with the support of the British Consulate.
