On September 10, 2025, Thi Qar Province hosted an awareness seminar as part of the project “Improving Human Rights Conditions and Enhancing Democratic Participation”, implemented by the Public Aid Organization with the support of the Norwegian People’s Aid and in partnership with the Ozone Network for Environmental Preservation.
The seminar, organized by the Khamail Foundation for Development and Combating Violence Against Women a member of the Ozone Network in Thi Qar — brought together 22 community members. The event addressed climate change, its risks, and strategies for confronting and adapting to its impacts, in an effort to spread public awareness and encourage dialogue on urgent environmental issues.
