Raising awareness of the rights of juveniles and their dignity throughout the investigation process as part of the activities of the project “Promoting the Right to Fair Trials, Improving Conditions of Detention and Abolishing Torture”, the Public Aid Organization held a Community Awareness session in Nineveh governorate on Thursday 15 August ,2024
With the participation of a group of human rights activists the session aimed to identify International and constitutional standards for fair trials.
It is worth mentioning that the project to Promote the Right to Fair Trials is being implemented in several Iraqi governorates in partnership with the IOL and the NPA with the support of the European Union.
