As a part of Strengthening Democracy project. Public Aid Organization held a dialogue session on (Building peace and challenges of peaceful coexistence) in Royal City hall in Ninawa on 24/9/2019. The representative of the community center in the provincial council and representatives of civil society organizations, tribe elders and a number of academics and youth attended the event. The session highlighted peace building process and the challenges of peaceful coexistence in the governorate. Furthermore, the session resulted in a set of recommendations including building moderate religious discourse and a call to promote justice and equality among the segments of society without discrimination on the basis of sectarian, ethnic and nationality.
