Launch of the EDP Project in Joint Coordination between Public Aid Organization Departments and Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA)

Using modern technology, the Public Aid Organization convened its special internal meeting to officially launch the activities of the project titled “Improvement of Human Rights Conditions and Enhancing Democratic Participation” through both virtual and in-person participation on Monday, February 16, 2026.

The meeting brought together staff from the departments of Programs, Finance, Monitoring and Evaluation, Human Resources, and Accounts, in addition to project staff in Baghdad and Basra. Representatives and staff members from Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) attended to observe the project’s implementation mechanisms.

The meeting focused on several key objectives, including:

1. Developing a shared understanding of the project’s overall goal, expected outcomes, outputs, and activities.
2. Reviewing project indicators and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
3. Clarifying reporting structures and documentation requirements.
4. Strengthening coordination between programmatic and operational departments.
5. Reinforcing principles of equality and inclusion and commitment to policies on protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).
