As part of the program to “Promote the Right to Fair Trials and Improve Conditions of Detention, and Abolishing Torture”, the Public Aid organization, in cooperation with the NPA organization and the IOL, funded by the European Union, organized a consultation session on Friday, December 27, 2024. Judges and members of the public prosecution from the federal government and the Kurdistan region participated in the session to enhance cooperation between the judicial authorities competent in juvenile courts.
The session aimed to review the most important recommendations reached during the previous dialogue sessions, where discussions focused on improving the mechanisms of Investigation and prosecution of the event. They also discussed ways to facilitate legal procedures and develop working methods to ensure the achievement of justice and provide an appropriate legal environment.
