The United Nations Development Program in Iraq (UNDP), in partnership with Public Aid Organization (PAO), and the Minorities coalition is empowering and engaging local authorities, and community-based mechanisms to enhance social cohesion in twelve districts in Nineveh and Kirkuk and with the support From the Netherland government.
PAO and UNDP are working together on promoting social cohesion by fighting discrimination, social exclusion, and inequalities, building social capital (i.e., networks of relationships, trust, and identity between and within different groups of society), and enabling upward social mobility in Nineveh.
