Within the Project of ” Enhancing Democracy” Public Aid Organization-PAO/ Basra team held panel discussion addressing ” Persons with Disabilities Act No.38 of 2013″. The event was conducted on 23.10.2022 targeting organizations concerned with disabled persons, representative of NGOs section in Basra Province, representative of local government and number of persons with disabilities. Attendees discussed the Act and identified inactive articles. A number of recommendations were formulated and will be communicated to the Officials , Department of Labor and Social Affairs.
