Within the framework of the “Youth Connect” project funded by the British Council, the Public Aid Organization organized on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, a discussion session entitled “Identifying the Priorities and Needs of Women in Nineveh”, in the presence of government officials and civil activists .
The session was attended by the mayor of Mosul, representatives of women’s empowerment, community police, family and child protection, education, and the governorate council, along with clerics and activists .
A field study on women’s challenges was reviewed, followed by a vote on four key issues to work on through community initiatives that support women’s rights and contribute to addressing them.
