In an atmosphere full of art and creativity, the Public Aid Organization in Nineveh on Saturday, December 21, 2024, organized an art festival under the title “You are the Homeland”, as part of the activities of the Youth Connect project in its second edition.
The first phase of the project was opened with a review of previous experiences that included goals, target groups, and initiatives implemented over the course of six months. The festival included various artistic events, most notably a music concert presented by a group of girls from the Hamdaniya district, as well as an art exhibition reflecting the importance of women’s empowerment and their position in society.
The festival focused on the need to support women and provide the necessary means to advance their reality and urged institutions of various specialties to provide assistance to them, with the participation of women from all components of the local community in Nineveh.
