We concluded the activities of the “Youth Connect” project in mid-April 2026 in Baghdad. Implemented by the Public Aid Organization (PAO) and funded by the British Council, the project wrapped up with a closing event titled “Look Back, Forward Event”, bringing together the program team and key stakeholders.
The event brought together representatives from the Commission for Persons with Disabilities, the Tourism Authority, as well as academics from the University of Baghdad and Al-Israa College, creating a collaborative space that reflected strong partnerships and shared engagement.
The program featured a comprehensive overview of the project’s journey—from its concept and objectives to the key initiatives implemented and the results achieved. It also included discussions on how to build on these outcomes to ensure sustainability and expand the project’s impact on target groups.
This milestone marks the culmination of our efforts to empower youth, strengthen their role in civic engagement, and open pathways for more sustainable, youth-led initiatives.
