As part of the democracy promotion program implemented by the Public Aid Organization with the support of the Norwegian People’s Aid Organization, a dialogue session was held on December 26, 2024, under the title: “National Policy for Environmental Protection and Adaptation to Climate Change”.
The session was organized in cooperation with the Nahrain Center at the National Security Advisor and witnessed the active participation of representatives of the concerned ministries, media institutions, and civil society organizations. The attendees discussed Iraq’s current environmental challenges and accelerated climate changes, highlighting the need to adopt a comprehensive national policy coordinating efforts between concerned parties and enhancing cooperation to address these vital issues.
