The Public Aid Organization, as part of the activities of the Enhancing Democracy program, held a simulation session in Erbil governorate on Monday, August 5, 2024 .
With the participation of Representatives (Networks of Civil Society organizations who submitted shadow reports) and the participation of (the Head of the Delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government that will participate in the presentation of the report of the committee on the elimination of Racial Discrimination), the session is special for the report of the International Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination( for the twenty-sixth and twenty-seventh periodic reports) submitted by Iraq .
It aimed to strengthen the mechanisms of cooperation between the government delegation participating in the contractual mechanism on August 14 and 15, 2024 in Geneva with civil society organizations within the framework of asking questions expected by the representatives of the networks who submitted shadow reports to the relevant committee .
