The Public Aid Organization in Nineveh governorate, within the framework of the Enhancing Democracy Project, held a dialogue session on(The Role of the Governorate Council in Enhancing Citizen Participation in the Decision-making Process) on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 .
With the participation of the deputy chairman of the Nineveh Governorate Council, the chairman of the human rights and organizations Committee, the session focused on activating mechanisms to enhance the role of citizens in the decision-making process and came up with several recommendations and proposals.
