The Public Aid Organization, in cooperation with Asuda Organization and the Iraqi Ministry of Justice – Human Rights Department, sponsored a simulation session last week that brought together the government delegation and non-governmental organizations, as part of the preparations for Iraq’s participation in the review of its report in Geneva under the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.
The session was held on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, and provided a practical preview of what would take place inside the United Nations chamber. This step reflects the Public Aid Organization’s commitment to continuing such initiatives due to their impact on improving Iraq’s performance and strengthening its procedures in line with international standards and obligations.
