The Play the Sound of Silence in Baghdad

In the corridors of the Baghdadi Cultural Center, students of the Faculty of Fine Arts presented an outstanding theatrical performance entitled “The Sound of Silence,” in which they addressed the challenges and difficulties suffered by detainees under torture. Through this presentation, the suffering of those forced into silence was highlighted their suppressed cries became a symbol of a bitter human struggle. The theatrical work skillfully embodied silence as a powerful tool for expressing the injustice and oppression they faced in those harsh conditions.
This event comes within the framework of the project to (Promote the Right to Fair Trials, Improve Detention Conditions, and Abolishing Torture), the PAO has established a distinctive technical event, which is implemented in partnership with the IOL organization and the NPA organization with the support of the European Union.
