As part of the Youth Initiative activities, supported by the Improving Human Rights and Condition and Enhancing Democratic Participation Program and implemented by the Public Aid Organization (PAO) with the support of the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), the Youth Vision Team held a meeting in Halabja Governorate on December 6, 2025, with the participation of 11 young women. The meeting aimed to formulate the final conference recommendations based on the findings of the field research.
The meeting focused on discussing the research results and translating them into practical, actionable recommendations, as well as developing a clear action plan to organize field visits to relevant government entities and institutions. These visits aim to present the recommendations and explore implementation mechanisms that strengthen environmental rights protection and reinforce principles of community participation.
During the meeting, a comprehensive framework for the reports to be submitted to the concerned entities was developed, and the roles and responsibilities of the team were clearly defined to ensure effective follow-up and implementation. In addition, a detailed timeline was prepared for the field visits scheduled to take place from December 13 to December 18, 2025
