PAO continues to hold psychosocial support sessions for women and girls in Makhmour camp within the framework of a project (Chid protection intervention with a specific focus on internally displaced population (IDPs, returnees, and host community) targeting children’s, adolescents, and adults to provide GBV prevention and response services through a sustainable approach) in cooperation with UNICEF.
Mental health and psychosocial support sessions help children, adolescents, and adults to overcome the awful living situations they are in and it is an essential activity in humanitarian response as it has a priceless impact on who is in need.
