The city of Mosul witnessed the launch of the activities of the festival “Realizing the Dream of a Disabled Child”, organized by the Public Aid organization with the support of Korek Telecommunications company, with a wide official presence by representatives of the executive and local authorities, in addition to the Turkish consul in Iraq and representatives of the private sector.
The festival aimed to highlight the dreams and hopes of children with disabilities, as the event was marked by the display of 50 paintings created by children themselves, expressing their visions and aspirations for a brighter future. The festival has received a great turnout from organizations concerned with people with disabilities and special needs, which highlights the importance of supporting this category and providing opportunities for them to show their talents and potential.
