The Public Aid Organization in Nineveh Governorate held a dialogue session on youth economic participation in collaboration with the Office of the House of Representatives on the left side, as part of the “Democracy Enhancement” project on Monday, April 29, 2024.
The session was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Youth and Sports Directorate, the Social Welfare Department, the Labor Union, and youth who own small projects. It included a presentation of a study on the youth’s vision for vocational training centers in Nineveh and addressed the challenges facing youth and the available opportunities for them. The session concluded with coordination between the vocational training center and the Office of the House of Representatives to obtain land from the municipality to build a training center for youth on the left side of Mosul city.
