The Public Aid Organization participated in the first general conference on development and training strategies, entitled “Towards a National Strategy for Training and Development in Iraq” under the auspices of the Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives and the organization of the Parliamentary Development Institute, on Tuesday, June 13, in the House of Representatives in Baghdad.
A set of working papers of the training and development departments in the public and private sectors and civil society organizations were presented.
Mr. Hawker Jetto, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the People’s Rescue Organization, who represented civil society organizations, spoke about training strategies in local Iraqi organizations and presented a set of training methods models from other countries.
The conference aims to formulate a unified strategy with privacy and work on writing joint recommendations.
